Confidence

It seems some are born with it and some are not. It seems some can attain it as they are growing just as there are those who lose it as they progress. Confidence is a healthy thinking mind. It is a mind that is certain that it understands the experience. Confidence is a pair of eyes that can see what the situation calls for. It is a pair of ears that can decipher between the numerous sounds being heard. Confidence carries the messages of well spoken words that break the walls of miscommunication. Confidence is knowing how others feel. It is sympathetic decision making.

Most importantly, confidence is believing in your execution and standing by the choices you make.

I like what you wrote about confidence, but as I read it and looked at the picture... I started thinking. I know this picture is kind of a universal picture for confidence, but I'm not so sure it should be. I think confidence is knowing who you are and what you are capable of. It is seeing yourself in reality, taking control for yourself, and trusting yourself. Confidence should be seeing yourself in the mirror as you are and being happy with it, confident in your abilities. Not seeing yourself in the mirror as something that you perceive to be bigger and better.
