"Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well." -Mahatma Gandhi
Does is it matter what we think? Do the thoughts we have really play any part in the outcomes of our lives.? Is there a higher power that hears your thoughts? Does thinking about others affect your karma? Can a person be the nicest most unselfish person outwardly while having thoughts of hate and disgust for others internally? Can a person wish and want something so bad that they can make it happen just by thinking it? What do you think?

Sure they can. Our mind-set is what both our conscience and subconscience are based from. The things we think about are made known through our actions and words. The most difficult thing is not presuming to know what an individual is intending or where true motivations exist.
thought has a huge effect on your actions. it is still possible to do something on the outside that counters what you are thinking on the inside. but you can not do something to the fullest on the outside if you are not thinking about it to the fullest on the inside. it is important to be conscious of your mindset. notice if you are thinking positive or negative. see if maybe it is your thoughts that are holding you back from doing something or accomplishing something. if you don't think you could do something, you can't. it is important to keep a mindset that will allow further progression in the life you want to live. to be open.
