New years is such a wierd time of year! Ideally it should be a time of reflection where you take a moment to think about the past year, but that's not how most people take new years. I'll admit, on Jan. 1st I'm usually reflecting on whatever wierd things happened the night before rather than the events of the past year. I feel that when we have the Jewish new year I truely take the time to think about the past year and the year to come. And what ever happened to new years resolutions. Nobody makes them, and those who do don't keep them. Maybe we should make new years resolutions. we should make an effort to fix something that we know we could work on in our life. we should constantly be striving to be the best person we could be.
